They might even see each other sooner than later, since she does check in at Gisi after wiping the floor with Josh in the freshman class she teaches that day. There's several hours between her afternoon class and dinner her evening class, after all. ]

[ For this case, it ends up being at dinner on the dot. He's got assignments that take him outside of Gisi and into Metro Manila. He also had to port over to Seigi on several counts because of a little project he and Kang Dae Moon have going.

Still, he'll be the first to arrive at your usual table in the Great Hall. He's going through another Black Stone, checking several light screens at once. ]

[ She's not late, not really. They had agreed on "after (his) class and before (hers)", and there was an hour and twenty minutes in between that. Still, she does arrive giving them enough time for dinner, and then some. ]

[ She sets down the manila envelope she was carrying down on the table-- it's for class later. Yes, she likes giving pen-and-paper tests on the first day. It's why not a lot of students like her. Does she care? No. ]

So, [ A smile. ] are we getting something to eat, or should I just watch you work?

Not yet married, she wants to say out loud, but no one other than herself and Makoto knew about Josh's plans to propose. That was, of course, still back in 2064. She hated that year. ]

They already are, they just don't know it yet. [ She says that mostly to herself, but Makoto would be able to hear. Or think the same thing, whichever. It's why she liked him, they usually had the same opinion on things.

Anyway. He doesn't really acknowledge your request, but he DOES return with a plate heaped with whole wheat bread, with generous sidings of whipper butter and blueberry jam.
