[ She perks up, mostly at the sight of her bread and butter and jam. You spoil her too much, Makoto. ]

I have. I never told you? About her first tram ride. I was with her on the phone all the while.

[ In the meantime, she'll just have all of this delicious bread and butter and jam combination. ]

[ His lips quirk upward as he considers how that probably looked. ]

So she actually managed to get on one of the trams alone, huh.

[ Not that what happened really counted as "alone", but it was a step? ]

[ There is nothing 'ladylike' in the manner she is devouring her food right now. It's thrown people off from thinking she's a Whisperer. True facts. ]

...Which is kind of what happens when you come back around. He did pop off to change into something a cut nicer than his usual (which is already quite nice), and the work's been cleared from the table he's occupying. He's working his way through a cigarette, and a bottle of Hibiki.

[ It's really no surprise to see him still there. In all honesty, Yulia would have been surprised if he wasn't.

And of course he'd have found time to change. Tsk.

She makes sure that he hears her sigh when she walks up to him. ]

One doesn't have to be at a party to enjoy a good drink.

[ Downing that glass of his now, and standing up. ]

[ She rolls her eyes. ]

[ ...she says as she takes the bottle of Hibiki. ]

[ Matter-of-fact in the typical Kuzunoha way, of course, which means that he is likely amused at your expense.

Anyway, he's walking. ]

[ And she's following, cradling the Japanese whiskey in an arm. ]

Just don't expect me to share this with you. Or with anybody, for that matter.

[ Because she really wouldn't. And he knows that. Although, they probably both know she would share it, eventually, anyway.

She's leaving it in the car though. Because totally not sharing. ]

I wasn't even considering it.

[ Indulgent as ever as he's leading you both to his car. Sleek and black Vice model exclusive to Keepers. Makoto does not, after all, trust anything that wasn't connected, somehow, to the Vigil.

No, he won't open the door for you. You're a big girl, and he isn't a gentleman. He will, however, wait for you to be settled in - seatbelt and all - before he gets a move on. ]

But she wouldn't let you open the door for her anyway. She'd probably send anyone who tried into a coma. She settles in pretty quickly, though (yes, seatbelts and everything). ]

We can get there before midnight, right?

Definitely.

[ Lifting an eyebrow at, though, as he's opening his window, going for a cigarette. ]

I thought you didn't particularly care what time we came around, though.

I didn't, but then you gave me something to look forward to for after the party, [ And she's lovingly stroking that bottle on her lap. ] so the earlier we get there, the earlier I can leave and get to this. [ Who cares if Jessie Vice would have the same vintage, this one was hers. ]

Now, less talking, more driving.

[ He'll only shake his head at that, and light up a cigarette. He was going to drive quietly whether you asked him or not. It's not like he has much to say, especially since you kind of really suck at conversations.

So there. It'll be quiet, as per usual. ]

[ She didn't mind the quiet ride, actually. She had own window down to smoke as well. As soon as they got to Jessie's though, she steps out of Makoto's car and leaves the Hibiki on the seat. ]

I'll come back for that later. [ AKA, don't leave without her. :) ]
