a. gisi
Zangyaku's base of operations in Falner; usually, you can find her at an izakaya at the Entertainment District. If she's not there, try the Hot Springs; she usually takes over operations there. If not there, check the Sky Steps, or Sabina's office, or with some of the other Whisperers. Good luck getting her to talk, though.
b. around falner
If she's in the Great Hall, it's usually because of a Hound or two. She doesn't stay too long there, though. She can also be found at the Shatterdome, terrorizing Netsach initiates. If she's at the lake, it's best to leave her alone.
c. shatterdome barracks
She lives on the fifth floor of Zangyaku's barracks. Or, she could be visiting the barracks for Aegis Kai Doru or the Thrones. Who for? Wouldn't you like to know.
d. choose your own adventure
There are a lot of places you can run into Yulia. Pick one and go for it!

She's looking around briefly for a seat because the movement o the tram is making her a little anxious and she slides into one nearest to the door. There aren't that many people on the tram today. She has seen some days when the windows seem full of so many faces.
Forgive her if she is a little quiet, Yulia. She's keeping a look out for the East District stop. ]

A little... y-yes.
[ She does not quite trust these modern means of transport yet. ]
no subject
You do not have to worry. The tram will announce when you've arrived at your station.
Why don't you enjoy the scenery, though? I'm sure riding on the tram will give you a different view of Falner. [ She's seen it before, on other kids riding the tram for the first time, their faces pressed on the glass windows in awe. ]
no subject
At your prompting though, she's glancing over her shoulder with the phone still pressed to her ear. It is like the way the world moves past when you are walking, she thinks, only faster. ]
...Yulia, may I ask a question?
no subject
no subject
But she's going to ask anyway, because she's never asked this out loud: ]
I do not understand how the tram moves on it's own. [ A pause as she shrinks a little in her seat. ] Are the horses that pull it invisible?
[ ._______. ]
no subject
Well, it's not being powered by invisible horses. [ Her tone is fond, though. You were, after all, taken from a time before all this technology. ] It's not entirely magic, either. You've heard of magience, haven't you?
memory recall: int (1) + comp (4) = 8,4,4,3,2 [1 success]
There's a soft 'uh-hm' from her then, as she sights the incoming station just as a voice from the tram pipes up that they will arrive at East District soon. ]
no subject
You're almost there. I'll see you outside the station, alright? Then we can go to Gisi together.
no subject
She's going to fall quiet again when the tram pulls up at the station. She knows that the people standing up and moving towards the door means that she should too, but there is still that sense of awkwardness. This is all so new and frightening and a more than a little unnerving.
She's stepping out of the station itself not long after though and the sight of you waiting makes her pause before she comes over, shoulders a little hunched out of shyness.
( You are kind of her idol, even if she has no concept of that word just yet. You and her King's three daughters, that is. ) ]
no subject
Hey, look up. [ She'd pat you on the head, but she knows you don't like physical contact much. ]
You've just had first tram ride, Lyall. How does it feel?
no subject
It was... nicer... than I thought it would be.
no subject
[ She holds out her hand for you to take, so she can lead you to the access point to Gisi from the Shatterdome.
She really hopes you would take her hand. ]
no subject
This isn't so bad. You are also a seasoned warrior. Her hands cannot possibly hurt you the way they did the others in the Pit. ]
Scary.
[ If she sounds sheepish, it is because the ride over was not scary at all. A little strange, perhaps, but not frightening in the least. ]
no subject
It is not so scary, isn't it? And you arrived here in one piece, unscathed.
I'm proud of you, and I'm sure Joshua and Hikaru would be, too.
[ Now, she'll lead you off to the Shatterdome, where the fast transport to Gisi is. ]
no subject
Bravery is easy when survival is at stake, and strange when it concerns such seemingly everyday things.
She will follow you, hand easy in yours, quiet and observant again. This district is far from Gisi, but you are a warrior of Zangyaku of exceptional prowess; she defers to you where such things are concerned. ]
no subject
[ She smiles, finding it endearing at how Lyall takes compliments. She leads her, though, to the Shatterdome barracks where the access point to Gisi was. It wouldn't take as long as taking the tram. A step through and a blink later, they would be at Gisi. Simple as that.
If the trams fascinated Lyall, Yulia couldn't wait to see her reaction to that one. ]
